Nunc Dimittis - The 4th Sunday of the Year and the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, 1/2 February.

“Now you are letting your servant depart in peace.” (Luke 2:29) by Mgr Daniel McHugh, the Co-ordinator for Ethnic Chaplaincies in the Archdiocese of Birmingham. 

In this Reflection Mgr Daniel links the 4th Sunday Gospel to the Feast of the Presentation/Candlemass, which brings the Christmas Season to an end. The Eastern Catholic Churches make much of this celebration.

A 10-minute pause to be still and reflect on our Mission with the help of scripture, music/song, pictures, a homily and Adoration intended to lead into personal prayer and action.
