Latest Diocese Life Blog The Burning Bush – Trinity Sunday Reflection God sent His Son into the world… “in order that the world might be saved through Him.” ( John 3:17 ) In this week’s Burning Bush, Mgr Daniel McHugh invites us to pause and reflect on the dignity of the human person in the light of the Most Holy Trinity. Drawing on Pope Leo XIV’s recent encyclical Magnifica Humanitas, he considers the challenge of a world where technology can risk “commodifying” people - reducing them to something to be used or traded. In contrast, the Trinity reveals a deeper truth: that every person is created for love, relationship and communion. Take ten minutes to be still, to pray, and to rediscover the call to uphold the God-given dignity of every human life. Mgr Daniel McHugh is the Co-ordinator for Ethnic Chaplaincies and Eastern Catholic Churches in the Archdiocese of Birmingham.
