Supersessionism: Naming and Addressing the Issue.

Ancient Texts for Our Troubled Times. How can Christians educate against antisemitism? One way is to ensure that Scripture is taught responsibly, free of inadvertent anti-Jewish prejudice. In three one-hour presentations delivered online, renowned New Testament scholar Prof. Amy-Jill Levine will explore the following topics:

This year’s programme is prompted by the problem of rising antisemitism across the world. Our focus is to address long standing misconceptions about Jews that have existed for centuries, by ensuring Scripture is taught responsibly and without inadvertent prejudice. 

Each session will be recorded and made available on the BKI website after each event. Registration will ensure that you receive link to a video recording of the event and notification of each upcoming session (2 June, 4 August, 1 September).
