Parishioner Martin Bradley (pictured) has raised almost £1,000 by completing a 175-mile cycling pilgrimage.

In support of Fr David Doran, parish priest at St Peter’s, Bloxwich, (main photograph) and his appeal for funds to support the purchase of a new organ, Martin began his challenge on the August Bank Holiday Monday.

He cycled from Bloxwich to St Chad's Cathedral, Birmingham, then to Chelsea Old Church to pay respects for St Thomas More and finally to Westminster Cathedral, London.

Martin captured his - sometimes thwart - journey along the way so he can share his experience with those who've supported him.

Martin's journey was around 175 miles over three days.

He was welcomed, and blessed, by Canon Brian McGinley, Dean of St Chad’s Cathedral, when he stopped at St Chad’s.

Funds raised from Martin’s cycle ride will help to pay for a new organ at St Peter’s, following a successful trial of a new organ.
