On Sunday 22 December the annual Carol Service was held at St Chad's Cathedral.

The cathedral singers, under the direction of Professor David Saint, sang a variety of Christmas Carols and motets interspersed with reading from the Scriptures.

Refreshments were held in the Grimshaw Room afterwards.
