Invitation from Father Hudson's Caritas

Father Hudson's Caritas (FHC), the social care agency of the Archdiocese, are appealing for individuals to step forward to act as Parish Ambassadors.

The role is to act as a link between the charity and the local parish.

We are delighted to announce our first Parish Representative is Peter Hobbs (pictured), a parishioner of St Gregory the Great in Stratford-Upon-Avon, who also attends Mass at Our Lady of Peace and Blessed Robert Dibdale, Shottery.

Peter said: "We will never be given a hearing when we preach the Gospel unless we live the Gospel."

Kevin Hateley, Head of Fundraising, Communication & Marketing at FHC, said: "We see this new voluntary role as key to our development and it will help to forge even closer links to parishes across the Archdiocese.

"Duties will include ensuring literature, newsletters and information is up to date within the church, helping to promote our Annual Parish Collection, which takes place over the weekend of September 27th and 28th, keeping us up to date about what is happening in your parish and linking in with Emily, our Caritas Lead.

"I look forward to hearing from anyone who may be interested in the role."

If you are interested please contact Kevin via email: [email protected] or call 07590 431007.

FHC has also recently launched a lottery.

"We’re thrilled to launch our lottery in proud partnership with Unity.

"By supporting our lottery you are helping to make a real difference to everyone who we support.

"For just £1 per week, you can be in with the chance of winning up to £25,000 every Friday!"
