Latest News Deacon Mick 'Baldilocks' McKearney raises hundreds for CAFOD Update, 23/10/25: The final total for the Brave the Shave was £1,446.69. The JustGiving page has now closed and monies have been sent off to CAFOD for their appeal. Thank you to all for their support. Deacon Mick McKearney has smashed his initial fundraising target of £300 for CAFOD after he 'braved the shave'. So far around £1,100 has been raised for the charity's Gaza Crisis appeal after Deacon Mick took on the daring challenge. He's now facing the congregations of the Parish of St Carlo Acutis, and pupils of St Edmund's Catholic Academy in Wolverhampton, as self-named 'Baldilocks'. Deacon Mick underwent the head shave last Friday, just as Storm Amy was sweeping the country! Watch!
