Latest News Holy Week celebrations at Wolverhampton school The children of St Michael's Catholic Academy & Nursery in Wolverhampton took part in a special Holy Week celebration. A video has been made which captures the whole school Holy Week reenactment, beginning with Palm Sunday. The younger pupils brought the sacred story to life through their acting, while the older pupils reverently proclaimed the scriptural passages recounting these holy events. All pupils joined together as the crowd, joyfully welcoming Jesus as He entered Jerusalem on a humble donkey. This celebration provided a spiritual journey through Holy Week. Pupils were invited to enter fully into the sacred story, reflecting on its themes of humility, service and devotion. Through their active participation, they encountered the significance of Jesus’ final days, deepening their reverence, nurturing their faith and embracing the spirit of communal worship.
