On Sunday 18 May, parishioners from Saint Ambrose Catholic Church in Kidderminster came together in brilliant sunshine to witness the May Procession and the crowning of Our Lady by parishioner Kate Fish. 

The statue of Our Lady was carried throughout the procession by George Nixon, David Gillett, Rita Congera and Chris Crassus.

There were over 40 in the congregation that formed the group. The procession started in the church on Birmingham Road, before coming out and turning left on to Leswell Street, before turning left again onto Saint Ambroose Catholic Primary School grounds, where we proceeded into the rectory garden for the crowning of Our Lady by Kate.

Afterwards parishioners were invited into the Adams Lounge for tea and coffee.
