Please pray for the repose of the soul of Fr Anthony Rohan, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Redditch who died on Saturday 19 July after a long illness. 

Fr Tony was ordained to the priesthood on 3rd January 1976 and served as an assistant priest at Our Lady of the Assumption, Maryvale; Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Redditch and St Peter’s, Leamington Spa. He was parish priest of St Francis, Kenilworth; Our Lady and St Werburgh, Clayton; St Wulstan, Wolstanton; Holy Family, Small Heath and finally at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Redditch. 

We give thanks for his faithful and dedicated ministry as a priest. We pray for his sisters and his family and friends who mourn him and for Fr Jason and the parishioners at Mount Carmel. May he rest in peace. 

Funeral Arrangements

Reception of Fr Tony’s body will be on Monday 18 August at 6pm at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Beoley Road West, Redditch, followed by Holy Mass, at which Bishop Timothy Menezes will preside.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 19 August at 12pm. Bishop David Evans will preside.

A buffet will be served after the funeral Mass in the parish hall and grounds.  

The burial will take place at 2pm at Abbey Cemetery, Bordesley Lane, Redditch.
