Of your charity, please pray for the repose of the soul of Fr Dominic Innamorati, a member of the Congregation of Sacred Heart Fathers (Betharram) SCJ, who was living in retirement with his community in the Olton Friary parish. Fr Dominic died on Saturday 1 March.

Fr Dominic was born in 1931 and educated at Sacred Heart College, Droitwich. He entered the junior seminary and novitiate and made his first profession in 1949. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1955. He taught at Sacred Heart College from 1968-1988 and served in the parishes of Holy Name Great Barr, St Joseph’s Leigh and finally at Ss John & Martin Balsall Heath where he served for 22 years as Parish Priest before retiring to the community at Olton.

We pray for his community, family and friends and parishioners who mourn him. May God grant Fr Dominic eternal rest. 

Funeral Arrangements

Fr Dominic’s body will be received into the Church of St John and Martin, Balsall Heath, Birmingham, on Sunday 6 April, at 4pm, followed by Holy Mass.

The Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Holy Ghost and Mary Immaculate Friary, Olton, Solihull, on Monday 7 April at 11am. Bishop David Evans will preside.

The burial will be at the SCJ community cemetery at Sacred Heart & St Catherine of Alexandria, Droitwich.
