Of your charity, please pray for the Repose of the Soul of Reverend Father Jacob Brian Lewis, retired Priest of the Archdiocese, who died on Saturday 30 November 2024, at the age of 91, fortified by the rites of Holy Mother Church.

Father Jacob was ordained on 15 May 1999 and ministered in the parish of Our Lady and St John, Goring on Thames, from where he retired in 2011.

We pray for Fr Jacob, his wife Carol and daughter Sarah, his friends and former parishioners and all who mourn him. 
 
May he Rest in Peace.

Funeral Arrangements

Fr Jacob’s body will be received into Our Lady and St John Church, Goring on Thames, Oxfordshire, on Tuesday 17 December at 6pm, followed by the celebration of Mass.

His Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday 18 December at 12noon. Archbishop Bernard Longley will preside.

Burial will take place at Goring Crematorium after which there will be a reception at the Village Hall, Goring.
