During the month of May parishioners at Our Lady and St Brigid, Northfield, will be hearing testimonies from those who have answered God’s call to serve Him in Priesthood, the Permanent Diaconate or Religious Life.

The parish is part of Birmingham Cathedral and South Deanery*. May is the Deanery’s designated Vocations Month, where parishes are encouraged to focus on Vocations with Celebrations of Holy Mass, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Prayer for Vocations.

Deanery Vocations Months were introduced in 2023 by the Diocesan Vocations Office.

At Our Lady and St Brigid testimonies will be shared at the weekend Masses (Saturday Vigil at 5.30pm and on Sunday at 10am).

All are invited to hear the testimonies at the Masses, and to share the information with those who feel the Lord might be calling them to serve Him through Priesthood, the Permanent Diaconate and Religious Life.
