Con McHugh is a parishioner of the Archdiocese of Birmingham. He is working on a video project as part of the Jubilee Year exploring each of the Jubilee themes.

The themes are Care for Creation, Food Poverty, Modern Slavery, Managing Debt, Forgiveness, Rest and Worship.

In the fourth video of the series - Managing Debt - we hear from Helen Moseley (pictured), of CAFOD Campaigns Team, talk about the new global debt crisis and the impact it is having on our brothers and sisters around the world.  

In this Jubilee year, which in the Church is historically a time for cancelling debt and restoring equality, Pope Francis has called repeatedly for action on the debt crisis, saying, “More than a question of generosity, this is a matter of justice.”
