Latest News Urgent Appeal issued by the HCPT charity News from HCPT (Hosanna House and Children's Pilgrimage Trust) From Tuesday 3 – Tuesday 10 December, HCPT is launching an urgent appeal. This urgent appeal aims to protect and sustain HCPT’s mission, ensuring its life-changing pilgrimages can continue for years to come. Each year, HCPT provides a life-changing pilgrimage holiday to Lourdes for disabled and disadvantaged children and adults. However, with increasing financial challenges, HCPT now faces an unprecedented need for support due to the turbulent external environment. This means that, in common with many other organisations, some of the charity’s reserves have had to be used to help deliver the mission and impact over the last few years. The timing of this urgent appeal offers a unique chance to make a double impact, which will secure the 2025 pilgrimage programme and beyond. As part of the ‘Big Give’ campaign, all donations made during this week will be matched, meaning each donation will be doubled and have twice the impact. This is a vital time for HCPT. The pilgrimages change the lives not only for those supported but also for the volunteers who travel alongside them. With this appeal, HCPT hope to safeguard its future and keep providing these life-changing journeys and experiences. The funds raised will directly support HCPT’s future pilgrimages, which gives so much to disabled and disadvantaged children and adults. Join Us from December 3 to December 10. Every donation counts, and for this week only, it will count twice as much. Join HCPT in sustaining an invaluable legacy of compassion, inclusion, and joy.
