  1. FAQs

GDPR Resources

The UK GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) places data protection obligations on organisations and provides rights for individuals to allow them more control over their own personal data.

GDPR applies to all organisations (including charities) who hold people’s personal information and so applies to each parish and the Diocese.

The documents in this GDPR Resources section, includes FAQs, letters and forms, designed to help parishes in the diocese comply with GDPR. In this section you will find documents that will assist you and your parish in how to handle and process personal and special category data.

Before printing a form off, please read the information carefully and amend the yellow highlighted sections with the appropriate information which relates to your parish.

If you have any queries about a document or are concerned that there may be a data breach in your parish, please call the Diocesan Data Compliance Manager, Debbie Jones: [email protected] 0121 230 6271.
