The Office for Mission exists to help to form missionary disciples, parishes and deaneries across the Archdiocese of Birmingham. At the Office for Mission website you will find ideas for evangelisation and formation, and strategies to implement our Diocesan Vision to ‘unfold God’s plan’ for the Church in Birmingham – all under three headings: ENVISION, ENCOUNTER, EQUIP.

The Archdiocese also recommends formation that you can access from other organisations. One such is the Light of Truth, that offers formation in many areas of Church teaching, and especially for Catechists, through an accessible online/in person course designed for today's culture.

Paul Northam - the Advisor for Evangelisation & Discipleship (with Marriage & Family Life) - assists the Archdiocese in the mission of announcing the Good News of Jesus Christ and supporting the formation of God’s Holy people as they seek to respond to the call of God in their lives.
