Jodie, Our Lady of the Angels

Jodie kindly completed a short, optional questionnaire designed to find out more about why people have decided to join the Catholic Church. She will be fully welcomed into the Catholic Church this Easter, 2026.
 
Please tell us a little about what drew you towards wanting to become a Catholic.

I felt lost and I went to a curry night with my aunty and the minute I walked in it felt like home. It was warm, welcoming and I’ve always thought the Catholic faith was for me. I feel like it's a new lease of life.

Please tell us something you have learned during your period of formation to become a Catholic.

I have learned all the morals and values of the Catholic Church and also the importance of Our Lady.

Please tell us something you are looking forward to, following your reception into the Catholic Church.

Entering into my new Catholic family with lots to learn and continuing my Catholic journey.
